Graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Johnston began her career in veterinary medicine over 20 years ago, working as a veterinary assistant and technician prior to becoming a veterinarian. Following graduation, she practiced as an emergency clinician at a high-volume practice in Houston, and gained additional surgical and dentistry experience through her work with a local non-profit practice.
Dr. Johnston brings to Neartown Animal Clinic a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise gained through the management of acute and critical patients, and is committed to providing excellent care at every visit. She has a passion for endoscopy, rhinoscopy, wound care, and abdominal surgery. She spends her free time hiking and kayaking with her family, and running with her German Shepherd.
