| Dr. Randy H. McBride, BS, DVM, is founder and owner of Neartown Animal Clinic, now celebrating 21 years of excellence in small animal healthcare. Dr. McBride is a graduate of Oklahoma State University. He started NAC in 1980 in a small strip center on Westheimer and moved to the present location, in the old River Oaks Post Office building, in April of 1990. The clinic also houses a large kennel facility complete with indoor runs and outdoor play areas. More expansion and improvements are in the works this year as the clinic continues to grow. |

| Animals are an integral part of Dr. McBride's life. He has raised and shown Bedlington Terriers, including numerous champions and a Best In Show dog. For the past several years he has been active in showing American Saddlebred Horses, and recently has started a small breeding program as well. His time away from the clinic is most always spent in the countryside where his horses reside and life moves at a slightly slower pace. |

Being admitted to the profession of veterinary medicine, I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of animal health, the relief of animal suffering, the conservation of livestock resources, the promotion of public health, and the advancement of medical knowledge.
