| GA 1986 graduate of Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Murray also did 5 years of post-doctorate training; an internship at Auburn, teaching Anesthesia for a year at Missouri-Columbia; and completing a 3 year Master's Thesis and Surgical Residency program at the University of Illinois. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

She has worked as an emergency veterinarian, run her own mobile surgical business, and is delighted to be an associate here at Neartown. Extensive training and experience in surgery combined with complete orthopedic instrumentation and state of the art surgical and anesthesia equipment attract many referrals to Dr. Murray. She especially enjoys orthopedic procedures such as cruciate repairs, pinning and plate fractures, and repair of dislocations. She also performs soft tissue procedures such as total ear canal ablations, removal of abdominal masses, and plastic surgery. In 2006 Dr. Murray was selected by the Consumers Research Council of America as one of America's Top Veterinarians. | Dr. Hunt is a Houston native and 1989 graduate of Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She is married to a fellow Aggie and has three children, two Borzois and one cat. | A graduate of Texas A & M, she returned to Houston to practice small animal medicine after an externship in Hawaii. Her special veterinary interests include oncology and dentistry. She graduated in April 2003 from Computer Information Systems but loves it so much here she can't leave. | Matt has been a member of NAC since January 2007. He has two children and has enjoyed being a father since 2002. | Tim started NAC in 2000 and left for a year in 2005 to pursue other interests. He has returned to NAC to to continue working with animals in an exceptional environment. He is attending U of H and majoring in Biotechnology. He lives in his new home with his wife and three Dachshunds, Heidi, Slinky, and Coney. | Casey was born in Argentina and has since lived in Scotland, England, Malaysia, California and finally Houston in 2002. She married a native Texan and plans to stay in Houston for the long haul. She spends her time with her Boxers, Lil' Bit & Fergie, Bud the Pug, and PK, Runt & Wasabe her 3 cats. Casey is also the owner of a Beagle named Jake who is the Southwest Finalist for the Biggest Loser for Dogs and Cats. | Originally from Wisconsin, Casey has spent the last five years in New Orleans where she earned a degree in Political Economy and an MBA from Tulane University. She moved to Houston in January '07 and is working towards an acceptance into Veterinary school.
